Jonathan Frias received two Bachelor of Arts degrees from California State University San Bernardino (CSUSB) in Music Education and Music Technology, with a minor in Jazz Studies, in June 2010. He studied classical string bass under Ana Maria Maldonado and voice under Dr. Andrew Crane. In June 2010, Jonathan had the opportunity as the tenor soloist for the world premiere of Manuel Garcia’s Mass in D Major and Salve Regina, performing in the composer's hometown of Seville, Spain. He also represented CSUSB and the United States of America playing string bass in a jazz combo at the Surin International Folklore Festival in 2010 and 2011 in Surin, Thailand. Jonathan is currently studying at CSUSB to attain his Single Subject Teaching Credential in Music. He is an aspiring choral director who hopes to motivate and inspire students and others with music. Currently, Jonathan is working with high school choirs around the Inland Empire.
