Gary Fisher
 Dr. Gary Fisher, the founding director of the Burlington Civic Chorale, holds a Doctor and Master of Musical Arts degrees in choral conducting from the University of Oklahoma and an undergraduate degree in church music from Westminster Choir College. He is a former teacher with the Halton Board of Education and a sessional instructor at McMaster University. His articles on Renaissance music have appeared in the Choral Journal of the American Choral Directors Association and he is a former editor of Anacrusis, the journal of the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors. His specialty is historical performance practice in choral music. He directs a community choir in Burlington, Ontario: the Burlington Civic Chorale which serves the Halton and Wentworth regions of the Toronto GTA.
