Michael Sandvik Directs Choirs and Handbells at Shenandoah Valley Academy (a private highschool) in New Market, Virginia. He recently completed his Masters in Choral Conducting at Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan. Before pursuing further schooling, he taught choir at the middle-school and high-school levels in Washington State. He is an active composer, primarily in the choral field.

 

Michael is married to Heidi Sandvik, who recently completed an MA in Piano from the same Univeristy.

 

Michael is a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and a happy member of the Seventh Day Adventist Christian faith.
