Timothy Reno is the choral and vocal music specialist at Siena College, where he directs the Siena College Chorus and Chamber Singers. In high demand as a conductor, clinician, soloist, and keyboardist, this season he is conducting the Schenectady All County High School Chorus, singing as a soloist in Kinderhook’s Music in the Village as well as with Musicians of Ma’alwyck, and appearing as an invited alumnus of the University of Maryland Chamber Singers in performances at the Kennedy Center. While earning his graduate degrees at University of Maryland, Dr. Reno worked with each of the six choral ensembles and taught classroom vocal pedagogy and conducting. He holds a BM in music ecucation and vocal performance from Ithaca College. In addition to teaching at both the middle and high school levels, Dr. Reno has also been a full-time church music director and organist. In 2010 he was a conducting fellow at the Philadelphia Bach Institute with Helmuth Rilling. He lives in Albany with his wife Andrea and their son Liam.
