Peter de Mets

Peter de Mets is a composer, conductor and tenor soloist. Peter's choral music has been heard in the National Cathedral, the National Basilica, the White House, and in concert halls in Boston, Trenton, and Toronto as well as many churches throughout Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia Counties. He has been commissioned to compose choral, instrumental and theatrical music by the Central Bucks High School West and East Choirs, Passage Theatre Company, Council Rock High School, Salem United Church of Christ, the Susquehanna University Chapel Council, Princeton Opera Association, and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is the Composer-In-Residence for Youth Stages, LLC. Alderpoint Press and Jeffers Handbell publish his music. Peter is a member of the American Choral Directors Association, the American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers, and the American Guild of English Handbell Ringers. He was also recently named an Outstanding Young Alumnus at his Alma Mater, Susquehanna University.
