Professional countertenor and choral conductor, Chicago area native, St Olaf College music graduate, now working mainly as an ensemble singer in the UK with Winchester Cathedral Choir (professional choir, daily choral singing) and the male vocal ensemble Continuum. Choral conducting study with David Hill and Andrew Lumsden. Have sung with Oxford Camerata, Taverner Choir & Consort (Andrew Parrott), St Paul's Cathedral Choir, London, Choir of the Enlightenment, London, Salisbury Cathedral Choir and Grace Cathedral Choir, San Francisco. Guest conductor of Vasteras Cathedral Choir, Sweden, and at St John Cantius Church, Chicago. Conducted The Polyhymnia Consort in Spanish Renaissance sacred music on disc (with Winchester Cathedral's boy choristers) and in Toledo, Spain. Former artistic director of Winchester International Early Music Festival, which brought some of the finest British and European artists and ensembles to Winchester each year. Founder and co-conductor of His Majestie's Clerkes, Chicago (now operating under the name Bella Voce). Private and contracted teacher of singing (concentrating on teen and young adult voices), incorporating classical techniques into contemporary singing styles. Vocal coach, arranger and creative director for Sandy Beach Productions, UK (commercial vocal group Paradisum)).
