Peter Haley is Director of Music Ministries at First Presbyterian Church of Anderson, South Carolina. He holds the Bachelor of Arts in Music from Wingate University and the Master of Church Music degree from Samford University. He has studied conducting under Kenney Potter and Philip Copeland, and voice with John Blizzard, Jessie Wright-Martin, and Paul A. Richardson. Peter currently serves on the Presbyterian Associaton of Musicians' Membership Development Committee, and is a member of ACDA, the Hymn Society in the United States and Canada, Choristers' Guild, and the AGO. His graduate research focused on the compositions of Arvo Pärt and yielded a paper, "An Analysis of Political, Religious, and Social Influences in Arvo Pärt's Early Sacred Choral Works."
