Sarah Hager Johnston

Sarah Hager Johnston, soprano, sings with CONCORA, Gaudeamus, and The Hartford Chorale. She has also served as section leader and soloist with the Chancel Choir of South Church in New Britain. She is Past President of CONCORA’s Board of Directors, serves that organization in many artistic and administrative capacities, and has prepared program notes for many CONCORA performances. Ms. Johnston earned degrees in music theory and voice from the University of Massachusetts, and earned the Master of Information and Library Science from Simmons College. A published writer and poet, Ms. Johnston is founder and principal of the program annotation and writing service GraceNotes (specializing in choral music) and of a business-technical research consultancy, Peregrine Information Consultants, both based in Farmington, Connecticut.
