Linnea Landin Burr holds a NYS certification in K-12 music and a BMus in Music Education and piano from Houghton College, where she recently earned the MM degree in Choral Conducting under Dr. Brandon Johnson. Linnea Burr is currently the assistant conductor to the Houghton College Choir, which she has led in both rehearsals and public performances. Recent masterclass participation includes study with Dr. Craig Hella Johnson, Dr. Lee Nelson, and Dr. Rene Clausen. Mrs. Burr was also a collaborative pianist in the voice studios of Dr. Margaret Kuhl, Dr. Cory Renbarger, and Prof. Kelley Hijleh at Houghton College. She has taught 7-12 Vocal Music at Maple Grove High School in Bemus Point, NY, has been the choir director at Worship and Music Coordinator at Bethel Grove Bible Church in Ithaca, NY, and been involved in various collaborative projects, private piano teaching, and church service playing.
