Edna is the founder and former director of Pacific Women's Chorus in San Diego, CA, and Concentus Women's Chorus in Rochester, NY. She is currently the Assistant Director of Voci Women's Vocal Ensemble in Orinda, CA and Sacred & Profane Chamber Chorus in Berkeley, CA. Edna has previously served as Interim Director for the University Section Club Music Section Chorus at UC Berkeley, Interim Assistant Director of the San Diego Master Chorale, and Chorusmaster for the Community Women's Orchestra. She received her Master of Music degree from The University of Texas at Austin, where she studied conducting with Morris Beachy and Craig Hella Johnson, and organ with Frank Speller.
