The mission of the ACDA is to inspire excellence in choral music through education, performance, composition, and advocacy.

Pat Montenegro

Location: New Jersey, USA
I am a lecturer at The University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where I conduct the Men's Ensemble, the Women's Ensemble, and the Opera and Oratorio Ensemble. I coach and accompany in the Voice Department, and accompany the 80 voice chorus. This year I am also taking the helm of the Chorale at Widener University.

In addition to my University work, I direct the Music Ministries at the very busy Jesuit parish of Old St. Joseph's in Philadelphia. Old St. Joseph's is the oldest Catholic church in Philly (1733), and one of the first in the country.

And I conduct two choirs in the Philadelphia area: A Cappella Pops in West Chester and The Masterworks Chorale in Springfield. They have Facebook pages, if you'd like to check them out.

My education: a BM in Piano Performance from the University of the Arts, and an MM in Choral Conducting from Temple University.

My wife Lauren, a Soprano, and I live in Williamstown, NJ with our three daughters. We love making music together!

Check me out too on Twitter (a)pmontjr, and my website,
