Matteo Valbusa
![]() Born in 1981, I live in Bosco Chiesanuova, a little
town near Verona, Italy. Choir conducting is my passion and my
work: I founded and conduct the mixed voice choir “Insieme Corale
Ecclesia Nova”, in Bosco Chiesanuova (www.ecclesianova.it); the
male voice choir “La Stele” di Roverè V.se (www.lastele.it); from
2008 I'm music director of "Accademia Musicale San Giorgio", in
Verona (www.accademiamusicalesangiorgio.it). I've been studing in
Italy with Pierpaolo Scattolin, Mario Lanaro, Stojan Kuret. In
Finland with Matti Hyökki at the Sibelius Academy. I'm an organizer
of two choral events: "VOCE! - international choral music festival"
in Bosco Chiesanuova (www.vocefestival.it); and “Concerti nel
Chiostro” in the church of S. Giorgio in Braida, Verona.
