Stuart McIntosh is a retired professional teacher but is still active as a performer/conductor and composer. Having taught in England, Singapore and in St Louis, Mo. USA he has seen first hand the highs and lows of teaching music both practically and academically. Stuart McIntosh loves to compose and often accepts commissions (even those where no money changes hands!). In December 2011 his cantata, 'The Life of a Woman' was premiered in Brazil by the Camerata Antiqua de Curitiba, a professional choir and orchestra, conducted by the comoposer. In early 2014, his new Requiem will be performed in England.
