Hello Everyone,

I am not a director, but rather an aviid vocalist. I belong to three local groups currently. The Delta Breeze Chorus (about 25 members), Delta Harmony (10 members mixed), and Delta Divas (5 women). YES we all live in the California Delta. Just like the ATT commercial.

 

I have always sung since I was a little kid. One of my Delta Diva girls says don't give her a microphone, you'll never get it back.

 

My small Delta Harmony group does all kinds of music, Patriotic, Christmas, Jazz, Latin, and even some sacred music. Currently we are struggling with getting the "men's" section to be more confident. Whew what a problem.

 

Our Delta Divas just tear through SSAA music and have great rehearsals. We are going to be adding in more a cappella numbers. That will be more challenging. Currently we are singing musci of the 50's,60's and 70's.

 

Well really that about it. Nice to know there are other choralists who are so dedicated to music.
