Internationally acclaimed singers Amanda Forsythe and Thomas Cooley join Voices of Music for a spectacular evening of instrumental and vocal music by J.S.Bach and G.F.Handel. Featured works are Handel’s Concerto for Oboe and String Orchestra in G minor (HWV 287) and Bach’s Orchestral Suite No 2 in B minor (BWV 1067). Also on the program are arias from Handel’s operas: Where’er you walk (Semele), Sweet bird (L’Allegro), Tune your Harps (Esther), As steals the morn (L’Allegro), and more.
Soloists Emi Ferguson, baroque flute, and Marc Schachman, baroque oboe join the ensemble for this concert of luscious baroque musical delights. Don’t miss it!

Currently the most popular early music ensemble in America, San Francisco based VOICES OF MUSIC performs both renaissance and baroque music, drawing upon the many and varied sources for historical performance practice.
