The Colorado Hebrew Chorale is honored to take part in the 18th annual Holocaust Remembrance Day program sponsored by the Hebrew Educational Alliance-Denver, which this year will be taking place on Thursday evening, May 5, 2016, 6:30-8 p.m., 3600 South Ivanhoe Street, Denver CO 80237. In tribute to the efforts of Jack Goldman (1923-2009), local activist, artist, and Holocaust survivor who spearheaded these programs, this year’s gathering, entitled “Am Yisrael Chai (The People of Israel Live)”, will mark the renaming of this annual event in his memory. The Colorado Hebrew Chorale will both open and conclude the program with settings of sacred and secular which also reference the late Mr. Goldman’s sterling character. “Am Yisrael Chai” also includes guest speaker Sara Moses, candle-lighting in memory of the Six Million, and recollections by Denver high school students who visited Poland in June 2015. This program is free and open to the public: no RSVPs are required. Information: (303)355-0232, .
