Choral Art Society of the South Shore presents “Viennese Splendor”
Choral Art Society of the South Shore, Danica A. Buckley, Artistic Director and Conductor, will perform its spring concert on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at 4 pm.
The chorus, accompanied by professional orchestra, will perform three short works of Viennese composers –Mozart Vesperae Solennes de Confessore, K. 339 (known popularly as Mozart Vespers), Schubert Magnificat, Haydn Te Deum, and the ever popular Ave Verum by Mozart and “Hallelujah” by Beethoven. Featured soloists, all young professionals from the Boston area, are Sierra Marcy, Soprano; Rosselin Osser, Mezzo Soprano; Sean Lair, Tenor; and Joshua Dixon, Bass.
