The Chorus of Communities, Richard Morgan Artistic Director, invites you to join them for their 26th Annual Spring Concert “Mozart and more…” in celebration of the 260th anniversary of Mozart’s birthday. The Concert will be held at Grace Episcopal Church, 200 Highfield Lane in Nutley on Saturday evening, April 16th at 7:30 PM. The 25 member chorus will be accompanied by string players from the Chamber Music Society of Northern New Jersey. Highlights of the concert will be soprano Joanne Dadd performing Mozart’s extraordinary solo motet, Exultate, jubilate and tenor Tai Collins performing Handel’s beloved aria Ombra mai fu from the opera Xerxes. Joanne and Tai will be joined by soloists Brandi-Leigh Miller, Sharon Byrne and Kofi Hayford in performing with the Chorus Mozart’s Regina Coeli, (KV 276) and Missa Brevis in C (K 259), and spring madrigals by Morley and Gibbons.
