MORE INFO: http://bayareavocalacademy.org
Bay Area Vocal Academy presents the Artists of its 2017 Summer Symposium in a finale concert showcase. Young Artists age 13-17 will perform Art Songs, solos from Opera and Musical Theater, and staged scenes from The Magic Flute, Cendrillon, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Into the Woods, Cinderella, and The Man of La Mancha. The concert is FREE and open to the public–please support these young Artists and hear their amazing progress!
BAVA Co-Directors Rhoslyn Jones and Justin Montigne teach voice and provide stage direction; celebrated tenor Nicholas Phan rounds out our voice faculty, and collaborative pianists Sharon Lee Kim and Richard Riccardi provide musical direction and perform with the BAVA Artists.
Donations will be accepted at the door to help BAVA prepare scholarships, guest artists, and other essential elements of its 2017-18 program. Thank you for your generous support!
We will have a short Q&A/Open House at the end of the performance to answer questions about BAVA and meet any singers interested in our year-long training program, beginning again in September.
There will be a celebratory reception with light refreshments. Please join us!
