The second and third 2018 Harold Rosenbaum Choral Conducting Institute Workshops will be held from June 4 to 8 at Buffalo State College in Buffalo, NY and August 20 to 24 at New York University’s in New York, NY. The latter event will be hosted by the New York University Music Department, Faculty of Arts and Science.
These five-day events are open to choral conductors and composers from around the world who wish to enhance their careers, expand their contacts and have an intensive experience with 2014 Ditson Conductor’s Award winner Dr. Harold Rosenbaum, one of the world’s leading choral conductors.
The HRCCI includes rehearsal and performance conducting opportunities, one-on-one instruction and individual guidance.
The Institute is limiting enrollment to 12 conductors and composers for each five-day workshop so each participant will receive close attention and hands-on guidance. Each attendee will receive a private lesson, plus opportunities to rehearse the choir comprised of the participants and others, with constructive feedback by Rosenbaum.
