Leonardo Da Vinci International Choral Festival, 11-14 July 2017
The Leonardo Da Vinci International Choral is one of the new projects of the co-founder of the Florence International Choir Festival, Leonardo Sagliocca.
The Festival concept is focused on the person of Leonardo Da Vinci, principally in the choice of venues, where Leonardo’s father, Ser Piero – a notary in Florence – and Leonardo himself worked. All choirs will stay in hotels in the historic center of Florence to give opportunities to singers and instrumentalists of all ages to enjoy the beauty of the city and its opportunities for them as tourists. Florence – cradle of the Renaissance, renowned throughout the world as a UNESCO World Heritage city, with its immeasurable heritage of history, architecture and art – forms the stunning backdrop to this remarkable festival.
