DCINY presents “Reflections of Peace, ” featuring the NY premiere of REQUIEM, written by Grammy-nominated, contemporary Nordic composer, Kim André Arenesen. This lush and dramatic work will be conducted by DCINY’s very own Associate Artistic Director Dr. James Meaders. Dr. Catherine Sailer from the University of Denver conducts Joseph Haydn’s impassioned LORD NELSON MASS, filled with heroic and virtuosic themes, and is considered by scholars to be Haydn’s greatest single composition written at the peak of his career. Jennifer Lapple conducts the talented Flutopia Wind Ensemble in an engaging and reflecting performance.
