Yorkshire Composer to record ‘Requiem Aeternam’ with Ablaze Records
Earlier in the week, Tim Knight Music announced the immient release of an Organ recording, and now we are delighted to announce that Ablaze Records have chosen Tim Knight’s “Requiem Aeternam” out of 73 scores from around the world to feature on their next CD release, saying: ‘The Recording of your work will take place in Cincinnati, Ohio in the acoustically beautiful space of the Church of the Redeemer between March 11th and 16th, 2018. Coro Volante Choir has an established reputation of tremendously fine choral blend and sound quality coupled with an enthusiastic engagement with the composers of our time’
The piece was commissioned in 2010 by Clarke University Dubuque Iowa and first performed in St Rapheals Cathedral there in 2011 so it’s fitting that it is to be recorded in the USA for release worldwide.
