The award-winning Cantabella Children’s Chorus is thrilled to announce Henry Leck, an internationally-acclaimed choral guru, as the guest clinician/conductor for its 2nd biennial Young Voices in Harmony Festival to be held on Sat., April 21, 2018, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church in Pleasanton! The festival, partially funded by the City of Pleasanton, will comprise of a full day of exciting rehearsal/workshop activities for middle school and high school students led by Maestro Leck and other expert clinicians. The day will culminate in a formal public performance featuring individual choirs and the combined mass choir.
Also, Henry Leck will also present a teacher workshop on Friday evening, April 20, 2018, which is open to anyone who is interested in learning from this world-renowned choral conductor and pedagogue, regardless of whether you enter your choir into the festival or not. The workshop will include practical and helpful topics such as Vocal Techniques for the Young Singer and Boys Changing Voice with adolescent boys as demonstrators, both of which Henry Leck is famous for.
