Hello all! I have a beginning choir high school choir. Most are completely new to choir and choral singing. I am focusing a great deal of vocal development: good breath support, vowel alignment/production, resonance, open throat. It seems like I am trying to tackle too much at once, though. When working with a beginning group, what are some of your “Go To” exercises/techniques to get them singing with a healthy, supported sound. What do you spend most of your time working on?
