I have a male 8th grade student with a changed voice who recently had a tonsillectomy. We have come to realize that he has lost access to his falsetto and middle-upper register as a result of the new resonant space. Does anyone have exercises that they would be willing to share to help us retrain his voice to access those higher notes? As of now, he struggles to sing any pitch above the bass clef and begins to feel pain when singing anything above the F below middle C.
Any advice/exercises/help is greatly appreciated!
